Bookstore Manager's QUEST isMODTM Kiosk Adds New Look Up Feature
Abilene, Texas - August 18, 2008 - Bookstore Manager®, the leading provider of total technology solutions for the Christian retail industry, announced today that their Quest isMODTM in-store manufacturing on demand kiosk now offers additional integration with Bookstore Manager's Retail Management Solution® (RMS) point-of-sale system.
All burnable titles offered on the Quest isMODTM will now appear in the company's Christian Books & More® database, allowing for immediate on-hand inventory searches for all burnable titles (accompaniment tracks or full music CDs) from any workstation in the store.
This offers stores utilizing Bookstore Manager's POS system networked with a Quest isMODTM the immediate ability to determine 'burn' status, pricing and even initiate a 'burn' without having to step away from the POS
Previously, when a customer would phone a store to inquire about the availability of an accompaniment track or music CD to be burned in the store, the clerk would have to go onto the floor and physically check availability in the Quest isMODTM unit.
Deborah King from Heaven's Attic bookstore described the new feature as a real time saving option. "When a customer calls in looking for a particular title, this allows our staff to know what burnable titles are available without having to actually go to the Quest kiosk. It has been amazing working with the Bookstore Manager support staff. We have been so impressed at their quick response to our needs. This update has made the isMOD so simple and easy to use"
While sounding like a very simple adjustment, this feature offers a powerful time saving resource for retail staff as they maximize their investment in offering digital content delivery within their store.
